BEFORE THE HEART OF A KING

Further to my previous post, I suddenly remembered that I felt God speak to me a few days ago on a similar theme regarding his Kingship. I heard the following lyrics of a hymn sung in the background on the tv and it really resounded with me:

'Hearts unfold like flowers before thee, 

opening to the sun above,

Melt the clouds of sin and sadness...'

Just as a I heard the lyrics about hearts unfolding like flowers, I had been looking at the design of an album cover called 'Before da Hart of a King'.  It was produced by the members of a gang known as the Young Kingz (associated with the 'Grey Gang' from Walthamstow and North London - see photos in my earlier post entitled 'Grey Gang' and the post about CJ).

It was as if the combination of the title, 'Before the heart of a King' and the hymn lyrics fitted together so perfectly that God reminded me of His heart of love for these children and as they come before Him, their hearts will unfold like flowers in a beautiful way.
