BOYS TO MEN

A couple of times lately I have been shocked to see boys who I knew as teenagers suddenly looking like young men in the months since I last saw them.  It's an obvious point to make - of course boys grow to become men - but I felt a sudden feeling of sadness as I realised the speed at which this change can happen... and yet how little has really changed for them inside...

Many of these boys are becoming men with little change in their lives... Their bodies have grown but they are still wandering, living the 'street life', with no sense of vision or direction... and no hope for the future... lost in the moment...
